This magical series takes a bit of a curveball, and audiences are given a Harry Potter film that completely differs from the first two instalments. The first two instalments were family adventures. Now, as the characters grow older, the darker the adventures will get. In "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," the plot is dark and the direction and vision for the film is dark. It's entertaining, and breathtaking at the same time. Expecting this fantasy series to go downhill, Alfonso Cuaron steps in and takes a massive risk. He turns Harry Potter into a series that can go in many directions, and truly become an exciting franchise for the ages. This third instalment turns out being the most entertaining, and the best directed film of the series by a long-shot.
