A truly well made movie, with lots of humour, and pokes fun, in a gentle way, at the many shibboleths of modern life: the foibles of searching for something that can't be found, only created. Particularly notable is the scenery, and the vistas shown that I don't think I'll ever be able to actually see myself- a real high point of this film. I would only criticize the overly melodramatic conclusion with its silly scene along the lines of "Eureka- I've found it" I read some other critiques, and yes, in my cinema, people were laughing and enjoying the film. This really wasn't intended as a serious drama- the premise from the first scene of Simon Pegg's rather dull routine and home life was a strong clue that this was a satirical film!!
