This is a great movie, so that part of the rating explains my 8/10. Don't miss it? Well now, that depends. Worth seeing, yes, but not sure it's a "don't miss it" movie. Kudos to Timothy Olyphant for his very tightly woven performance. He plays the lead role with razor precision (like his clean-shaven head!!!) He delivers the humourous punch lines with such ease it makes us want more! The music is dead-on in creating the right mood. A great musical background! The suspense is very good, and keeps us interested, due to us liking the hero (aka villain!) and wanting to know more about him while seeing how his mission turns out. The movie's major flaws are the storyline development and the editing. The storyline is a little choppy, and doesn't flow smoothly. Understandably as it is based on a video game, and not a book or an original screenplay. However, more effort could have been put into tightening the plot and story. And the editing is quite choppy, at times so off that the lips clearly don't match the character speaking, as if dialogue had been changed and the corrected audio track simply dubbed over. It's so blatant that a few scenes resembles an old Bruce Lee movie!!! Other editing woes are bad camera cuts, especially in some of the action scenes, that we cannot enjoy due to quick and uneven cuts. Even with those 2 major flaws, the movie remains great, worth seeing. Gamers will probably consider it a "don't miss it", although they may also be its worst critics. Time will tell. I do wish it tremendous success, so that we may get a sequel or prequel, allowing us to see more of Timothy Olyphant's great turn as 47 and learn more about his character.

Seriously, u expect me to believe this post is from a real person. It so obvious it is run by the ppl trying to promote this movie.
Trust me. If I was trying to promote this movie, I certainly wouldn't point out two of its major flaws (bad editing in fight scenes and some dialogue dubbing) I just enjoyed my time watching it and took it for what it was, a video game turned movie.
Nice burn to the other guy!! Well done!
Nice review, I agree that it's a good movie if you have no knowledge of its story from the video game. If you actually have played the video game the movie is pretty bad as many of its concepts are just poorly integrated or just left aside in the movie. First of all, Jason Statham shouldve got the role. He wouldve done a better job, he is more built, looks better when bald, and lets face it, is Cool-er. Agent 47 Never shows his emotions, never gets attached to women, never compromises his missions for people. But it would be hard to make a movie with no emotion. Still, it left a sour taste to those who were expecting a movie true to its videogame franchise.
