I went to see Hollywoodland the other day. It was very interesting, but a bit on the slow side, and didn't really answer any of the questions as to how George Reeves (superman) really died. Was it suicide, or murder, or just an accident? All those scenarios were addressed but nobody really knows for sure. Back in 1959, there wasn't forensics like we have today. But Adrien Brody was outstanding in his role. Diane Lane, Bob Hoskins, and Ben Affleck were also great. All in all this movie is rather complex, but it did offer a few suggestions so you could draw your own conclusions about Reeves. I never quite knew the story of the 50's actor before, but I'm glad to have seen this film nevertheless. It would not surprise me at all if this should get nominated for an Oscar. Go see it now..
