Once told to see the film and all about its antics, I delved in. It's a screwball type comedy dressed up in a sixties context. The cast of of truly great comedians will keep you laughing from the first moment. Even Ethel Merman as Milton Berle's mother-in-law, in a non singing role is hysterical. Yes, the film is long but not boring in any way. Some of the slapstick antics are simply to die for. One could point out to so many incidents. The destruction of a working garage by Jonathan Price and partner with a poor Arnold Stang in horror is totally priceless. The guest stars inhabit the film with the charm of their earlier days. The few surprises and a singular dénoument, though expected is none the less effective. It's hysterical for one viewing.
