I usually find the post-modern approach to filming Shakespeare a tad irritating but this Joss Whedon directed, low budget production won me over quite handily. It was clear that the actors were thoroughly enjoying themselves and the performances were outstanding-Reed Diamond, Clark Gregg, Amy Acker-in particular. But the real standout was Nathan Filion as the dumb cop, Dogberry. The black and white was ok, too. But, I still prefer the Kenneth Branagh VERSION.
