If you grew up in the 60s and experienced the original James Bond movies you will know what I mean when I say they have gone down hill. I am not referring to Daniel Craig, but to the quick one second music video style cuts that make me nautious. I really don't care about how cool you can be in post production. Just give me a good film made with style. I really liked Casino Royal, but this one bored me to tears with the typical gorgeous Bond girls, the third world villains and et all. Also not having the original James Bond theme at the beginning was sacriligeous, replacing it with some rocky hip hop garbage. And the statement about oil being the new gold or the ruin of society by covering a woman with it and nostalgically bringing us back to Goldfinger was cute but give me a break, it wasn't enough to stir this man's martini.

I grew up in the 80s and I'm about ready to give up on action movies altogether because this spaz-cam trend of jerky cameras and split-second editing has totally worn itself out (not that it ever had any merit to begin with) It is a lazy director's way of making movies.
