Scorn

Denise (Tawanda Auston) is a single mother, fresh from her breakup with her abusive ex, Jay (Maurice Thompson). Denise tries her best to raise and protect her daughter, Kayla (Ayana Smith), from his constant lies and empty promises. Sean (John Peebles) has just gone through a breakup with Melissa (Deborah Ayers), who drops an early morning bombshell in her attempts to revive her relationship with him. This places Sean in a state of turmoil as he strikes up a new romance with Denise. He only has his best friend Jamal (Derrell White) to advise him on how to deal with the love triangle.
