When handsome, young London musician Barney inherits a small house in a rundown Spanish village, all he wants to do is sell it, and get back to London -- before the villagers discover that he's the son of the man who ruined the village in the first place. But to sell the house, Barney first needs money to fix it up. With help from beautiful local musician Paloma -- and despite her ex-boyfriend's interference -- he sets about getting the village band back together, in order to win the prize money in an upcoming competition. However, when he plays a trumpet solo at the funeral of the previous bandleader, he accidentally reveals that he's his father's son -- because their playing styles are identical. How will the village react? And what will Paloma do now... can love save the day?
