This film starts out with great promise in the first 30 minutes but then degrades into a self indulgent, "Over 50" male and female vanity piece that eventually winds up unravelling into a steaming, smelly, putrid plate of Fromage. Having to watch the wrinkled, paunchy and irreverent Nicholson character seemingly effortlessly date a bevy of under 30 beauties all the while being hopped up on Viagra made my stomach turn. Similarly watching Keaton's character act like a love smitten Junior High School Girl made my innards wrench equally as bad. This film never seemed to end. The director must have owed Keaton a big favor or something, as she was included in many scenes that should have ended up on the cutting room floor. As an added comment the Theatre I saw this at (in a mall named the same as the big military helicopter with twin blades) was the temperature of a Sauna. Spare yourself the pain and avoid this toxic brew of late life romance and Hollywood's feeble attempt to change society to entice young Guys like Reeves's "dopey doctor" character to date old Women. YUCK! P. S. the theme "Chicks dig bad boys" once again emerged. It's getting real tiresome.
