Retired, sedentary entertainers living at the Lillian Booth Actors Home (just outside Manhattan) begin rehearsing the play "A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM" and before long their assisted living world and Shakespeare's enchanted forest start to mirror each other in disquieting ways. The activity awakens and reconnects these thespians to each other and to vital aspects of their past.
