USA/Libya/United Kingdom
1h 27min
A rock and roll documentary about the power of music to elevate the human spirit above even the direst of conditions. After being banned for decades, a defiant music scene erupts amidst the Libyan revolution to overthrow the tyrant Gaddafi. Musicians stand shoulder-to-shoulder, guitar to rifle, alongside rebel fighters, and strike a chord for freedom. But after the war is won, Libya soon descends into civil war. Yet this time, the music shall not be silenced.
