Almost a 10 for me. Way better writing than I've seen in most super hero movies. The only ones where the writing was comparable were maybe the first Spider-Man, Hulk, or Hellboy, with Hellboy being the only one to pull off a sequel I still really loved. The action was great, 3D was money well spent for both the studio and us customers, which is nice as so often it's just a cash grab. I loved all the performances, with Thor perhaps still being the least convincing, just as I felt about him in his own movie. However, Thor is pretty enough that he will likely still be one of the favorites with the ladies. Robert Downey Jr. is hands down the most charismatic of the bunch, and the glue that holds the whole team together, but surprisingly, funny as he was, Hulk upstaged him still in the comedy department. Loved the big green guy's attitude. Huge departure from the serious Hulk from his first movie, but it was definitely an endearing direction to take him. Overall, may be the best super-hero movie I've ever seen. I really hope they don't just ride on their laurels for the inevitable sequel.
