The Dark Knight has the best cast and acting of any Batman movie ever made and, in my opinion, when every factor is considered, it is tied with the 1989 Keaton/Nicholson version as the best Batman film overall. Heath Ledger's ghost will be robbed if he does not win an Oscar. I am not giving it a 10 because of 2 factors: During the first one-third, the nature of the relationships between all the characters is very muddled and confusing AND during the last two-thirds of the story (where the bulk of the action sequences take place) there is too much repetition - even though the Joker's aim is to create maniacal mayhem and chaos, it basically just comes down to him blowing everything up. (The Dvd version will really sound good on a home-theatre system!)
