I enjoyed this movie a lot to be honest. I don't see why everyone is seeing it so negatively. Yes, the acting wasn't great. However, the parts were not simply based on the talent of acting, but the martial art talent. They needed the actors to be right in all departments of physical appearance as the anime series had (which was well done, everyone looked almost alike) The actors are all young, and only developing their talents. Saying they are horrible actors is just rude, because they aren't. They aren't amazing and they aren't horrid. Now the story line followed the series well. I never saw all the episodes, but I still knew the basics to it. And I could follow along, name people, recall scenes and enjoy this movie. I think it was well done. M. Night. Shyamalan has made amazing movies, mostly horror or thrillers. So this was a different tone for him, and I believe he did well. I am hoping for second one to also be done by him. The effects, cast and scenery were well chosen. So everyone, stop complaining. I'd like to see you make something better.
