When wellness guru DR. LAUREN BIRCH, suddenly falls violently ill and dies during the opening of her new family wellness center, her sister AMANDA refuses to believe it's due to a heart condition. Suspecting her unfaithful husband IAN is somehow responsible, Amanda is floored when the Detective on the case discovers proof to suggest that Lauren was poisoned with the rare drug, colchicine, by her relapsing addict son, CHARLIE. As Amanda tries to make sense of what's going on, she is forced to partner up with MAYA, Lauren's former protégé and Charlie's girlfriend, who is now running the center. Amanda is determined to find out what really happened to her sister, and in the process, she discovers what happens when admiration turns to obsession.
