Well the one thing I could say about the quiet is that it delivers a story that while predictable, kept me guessing until the very end. By far, Camilla Belle steals the show. I must say that while none of her performances have yet to prove oscar-worthy, she does have a gift for creating characters that seem beleivable. For instance in when a stranger calls I very much felt for her in that position, being victim of a serial killer, while in this movie I beleived she was a tormented kid hiding out from the world. Not an easy thing to pull off considering the numerous movies of the genre I have seen with most actors not comming even close. Regardless, this movie doesn't deliver in terms of a gut wrenching plot that always keeps you at the edge of your seat. While it didn't bore me, it didn't excite me all that much either. I loved Camilla's performance and promise as an actress but aside from that I feel as if I've seen this kind of movie too many times before.
