This film is empty and annoyingly superficial; though the issue deserves a probing analysis, the automatic, conservative values behind the writing impede any intelligent statement. The dialogue was grating, and was hinged around ill-written lines."We had no time to keep in touch. She was a single mom, I lived in New York." "We're always rushing, always late; I guess that's why they call it the human race. (Switch to scene where protagonist has escaped singledom and is hosting his son's birthday party.) Maybe the human race isn't a race after all!". Quite disapointing.
