An interesting film, but it is more about Jane Hawking than Stephen Hawking -- not surprising since it is based on Jane Hawking's book. Felicity Jones does an admirable job of reflecting the emotional trials associated with being married to, in essence, a physically-handicapped intellectual giant. And Eddie Redmayne's portrayal of the progressively more handicapped Stephen Hawking is quite believable. Perhaps important to note, however, that while the film would have us believe that the story is current, the book on which this film is based was published in 2007.
