Nassim has no friends among young boys his own age. The son of immigrants, he struggles to acclimate in Germany. Instead he idolizes Thorsten, leader of a group of aimless young adults who find their fun on the streets, in bars and in bowling alleys. Nassim will go to any lengths to impress Thorsten. When Thorsten's friend Ioannis threatens to tell Nassim's father and Thorsten that the boy stole 200 euros to buy Thorsten a gift, Nassim plants a handgun he found in Ioannis' locker and alerts the police.
