When Sammy is ten years old his family disintegrates. The same day, a compulsion for photography is born within him. The more pictures he takes, the further he detaches from the world until his only means of coping with life is through photography. At the age of eighteen, Samuel is confronted by an event that challenges his will to photograph it, and his actions in that moment determine the course of his life.
