    From Paris with Love

This is a very entertaining action-adventure and 'buddy' picture that delivers more than I ever expected. The rather thin story moves at breakneck speed through stylish direction and film editing. John Travolta is both deadly and funny as the American intelligent agent who does things with deadly 'James Bond' like efficiency but without any of the pretense. While co-star Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays the young but eager assistant who's character is very much about pretense. Both actors play off each other's character really well and you will find it very hard to predict what is going to happen next, except to know that a lot of bad guys don't make it from one scene to the next. So don't worry too much about plot and story just sit back and enjoy the wild ride.
