Man of Steel

I really didn't know what to write. This is not my genre of film (went with my husband --his choice), but I have loved Superman from when I was a kid. I liked all the earlier Superman movies. The good: Amy Adams and rest of the actors. All good. The plot is a rehash from the older movies. That's okay. My complaint and probably the thing that makes this movie money: Too much violence and special effects. Don't get me wrong-- the special effects --genius-- but overkill-- (more than a turn of phrase here)--way too many piled on. This shows me the scary direction that movies are going--plot very thin-- great actors minimally utilized---It's all about action and special effects.
