I think that some poor misguided person thought that since Quentin Tarantino has receive accolades for some of his fine work of "rewriting" history or at least has variations of "the way it should have happened" style of humorous tongue-in-cheek satire, that some other poor schmuck (s) decided to rewrite a truly ugly event in U. S. history that is neither antiquated enough nor slanted away from the desperate situation that the U. S. is presently in (regarding guns and rampant violent behavior) and in no way can be considered humor unless you think that Columbine, Newtown or for Canadian historians, the FLQ kidnapping of James Cross were in any way humorous events to be made light of. Some might say," Lighten up," but I would like them to take a good look at the Charles Manson or Charles Ng murders and wonder if some goofball would like to try to console the victims' friends and families with this kind of morbid approach of belittling the brutality that has and had affected so many lives and left scars that can in no way reasonably be made light of. What a waste.
