I was drawn to this movie because I enjoy Kate Winslet and it was an Australian movie. It was billed as a comedy, but at times it seemed more farce and Keystone Kops. It was quirky, zany and filled with eccentric characters who sometimes overacted. I was never bored and was often surprised by the plot twists. I laughed often, but there were many dark moments and the town harboured many monsters. I was jarred by the death of Teddy. Over all this movie was creative and one of a kind. Perhaps not everyone's cup of tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
