    Captain Phillips

Tension, violence, and edge-of-seat drama throughout. Use of a handheld camera adds to the motion of both the sea and the viewers' adrenalin. Political ire may be raised in some quarters because of the emphatically positive role displayed by the U. S. military, and I trust there was no misleading exaggeration in the depiction of any part of this film. Beautifully filmed and edited. The regrettable part of Tom Hanks' career is that no-one will place a sword on his shoulder and dub him 'Sir Thomas' Hanks.
