Hitchcock

I saw Hitchcock at the premier. I anticipated it was "his life" and not just focused on one "event" so a tad disappointed. The storyline is interesting, some good humour, and Helen Mirren, as always, is brilliant. Anthony Hopkins did a really good job but I don't think it's possible to really get the essence of a unique iconic figure like Hitchcock. Can you imagine someone playing Mick Jagger? Scarlet Johannsen as Janet Leigh was a very strange choice. She tried and was better than you might expect but somehow it just didn't seem like the right fit. Overall, don't set your expectations too high and you'll enjoy it.
