Well... another 3D movie. Time to get those lovely comfortable specs to wear for 2 hrs. Now if only both the effects were amazing and storyline excellent no complaints would be forthcoming from here. This is the second 3D offering from Cameron in the last 6 months. The last one got the giddy 10's across the board. For what? I'm not quite sure. I guess some people have never seen 3D before because the storyline was average at best. Know which one I'm talking about? If not you need to get out more. That leads me to this one. For the most part, it was ok. I've seen worse for sure, but while it had an interesting premise and the first 30 minutes had the best of the 3D, I suddenly had that feeling that I was watching a movie plot made around 3D effects. I was quite shocked about 3/4 of the way through when I glanced at the screen under the glasses and saw little difference in the effects WITH the glasses on that I did WITHOUT... Anyway... It appears the ratings so far are either 10's or 3's. While I can't understand how someone would even think about giving this movie an 8 at best (again some people need to get out and watch a few more movies), it's unfair to judge it lower than a 5 or 6... it wasn't THAT bad... c'mon. I'm sure this is the "Hate the successful movie director crowd". For an extra $3 per movie.. I hope the 3D craze is winding down...
