"Stretch" is kinda like one of those pulp paperbacks by some no-name author using a pseudonym. It's short, completely whacked out and hilarious. It works as an entertaining stab at Hollywood and the kind of tales that are the film industry's bread & butter. It stretches (Heh) credibility to a breaking point yet somehow manages to sustain itself by its own nutball logic. Definitely a fun romp. Never thought I'd like Chris Pine in ANYTHING. In this he's perfect as a sorta Mephistophelean Producer gone wrong. Wilson is also great as the titular hero, a sorta schmo everyman who acts as a wish fulfilment barometer for every male in the audience aspiring to change their station.
