Written upon the combinations of grandiose scenery and music, the humor overcomes the platitudinal spewing that Robert Redford's character pours out is the true essence of this movie where you can look upon your decisions and hardships and laugh and not take yourself too seriously. Very entertaining if you can overlook the poor dialogue in places and the hard to swallow sexual innuendos and forced "attraction" scenes. A very enjoyable romp through one person's perception of a search for self.
