I feel a need to preface this review. I caught the film at the Banque Scotia theater, in 3D. Early on I noticed that the aspect ratio was totally off. This was in cinema five of the theater. I brought it to the attention of the staff there, even managing to get them into the theater to take a look at the screen RIGHT when text was going off the screen, clearly showing things were off. They refused to see it. Making a strong case for never going to see a movie there again. Otherwise the movie was alright. A bit too muddled in the middle and overlong, but fun, at least in the third act. Downey was surprisingly good. Spider-Man was fun. Can't say much else about it, considering I couldn't properly enjoy the film with the image off kilter and the actors head's going off the top of the screen. Thanks Cineplex.
