Crimson Peak

I like a good ghost story. The ghosts were great in this movie... but. I wanted to see more of them. And.. I wouldn't call this a horror movie. More of a thriller. Great cinematography ie; visuals. I kinda figured out 3/4 into it that the... well, two people are having affair. That's been done before so. ( Not the ones you think) so a 7 worth seeing. A more horror type would have been funner, but when it comes to ghosts, pretty much all the story lines and horror aspects have been covered by now-nothing new. The blood factor.. was just enough to make you go ugh... and not over board. Weird seeing Jax all done up in 1860's attire tho. Kept thinking the -s o a- were waiting for him somewhere-- haaa. A little more of the ghost angle would have been better though.. I thought. The effects for the ghosts.. was some of the best so far for a movie. And... who doesn't like a good ghost story!! I.e. : thriller.
