Gravity is a technical achievement in itself with special effects that brought me right there into space. I have never experienced this sensation in any space movie before. As for the acting, Sandra Bullock being the only survivor, did not have to deliver a shakespearian performance. But I thought that she rendered the emotions of such a dramatic situation very well. She went from panic, fear, despair, hope... and so on. Some will say that Gravity does not deserve a best movie or best actor Academy award but, if only for the its technical merit, it deserves an Oscar. To me, Gravity is fiction that felt like reality. It is quite impressive.
