Normally, this is not my thing. Aimed at teens. That said, despite the terrible reviews, awful actors, crappy dialogue/script... The fx made this film awesome. I've been working on a film with 3d modelling similar to the stuff in this film and I was excited to see (verbatim) the same scenes executed wonderfully. The directors did cloud atlas, the matrix, and this one carried over some amazing action stuff from those films. Strangely, there is a direct reference to terrygilliam in this film, noting central services from Brazil and zero theorem. I loved it but it also confused me. Any who, the film has sweet fx in 3d, and I hate action movies. If you like space, SciFi, visualfx, than this movie is a treat! If you are foolish enough to go for the actors or script be prepared to walk out.
