This movie has a really interesting concept and could've been masterfully done. It's a movie where you look as something that's everyday common but you look at it from another perspective. That's the only good thing about this movie though. They took what Trey Parker and Matt Stone could've made a masterpiece out of and ruined it. It's swearing for the sake of swearing (when every second word is a curse, it loses its power for hilarity) and crude for the sake of crude.
I wanted to see this movie BECAUSE it was supposed to be crude and adult, but I wanted clever, boundary pushing crude. This was far from that. I walked out after a half hour.
I get irritated at the people who think that if you don't like the movie it's because you're a prude. I'm almost impossible to offend, but this movie offended me. Not because it's vulgar (I loves me some inappropriate) but because it butchered what could otherwise be a really clever, original masterpiece and turned it into garbage. I got a decent couple of chuckles in, but 9 seconds of laughter wasn't enough to keep me in my seat. Super disappointed. If I was a stoner (and stoned, of course), maybe I'd like it. I'm not, and I wasn't, so I didn't.
This movie snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.
