Simple and predictable are the 2 words that come to my mind to resume this movie very briefly. It was somewhat amusing at times which raises its rating a little higher. I'll admit I was drawn to the movie because of all the well known actors and actresses that were in it. Unfortunately all these great faces don't do a thing to change the 2 first words I used to describe it. The acting is average but I can't hold that against the protagonists since they don't have very much to work with. It reminded me of the way a lot of Disney movies are done or were done in the past. It pushes aside reality and transforms it into a world perceived through rose tinted glasses and in this case, patriotic glasses as well. At least it's not very violent (in the context of a vicious war) and doesn't resort to vulgar language which is rare these days. Also, I learned a few things for which I am grateful for. I had no idea that the German army under SS rule had literally stolen so much great art and hidden it.
