For the lame of mind, don't watch this film. For those who can read the symbolism, foreshadowing and character growth of this film, it is a definite great watch at the theater movie. Great to see a recluse break out of his shell without the usual shock and awe type of hype. The most quotable line that capsulizes the movie is Sean Penn's line with Ben Stiller you will realize right away about "not drawing attention to itself" (don't want to be a spoiler) The rest of the movie is foreplay to reach the character's epiphany of self awareness which is a beautifully captured (accompanied with a great sound track) cinematographic journey. Not at all like the Danny Kaye version or the book but a seemingly natural in timeline and personalities rendition which adds value to your own personal life; something you can take away with you after you've left the theater. A definite watch!
