    The Tree of Life

If you stuck with the story about the relationships between the parents & children and complexity of those relationships, it would have been an interesting story. What's with the dinosaurs? What's with the drawn out space scenes? What's with the volcanoes/lava? I understand there's suppose to be a message about there being more to life than what we experience. Questioning what exists beyond ourselves. I just didn't get the connections/relevance to the characters or story. I gave it a "3" instead of "1" as it had a real 1950's feel to it (felt you were back in time) Enjoy the film, just not this one.
