Many-layered film that echoes Bergman and Antonioni. Binoche and Stewart are excellent and the film is not only deeply personal on a meta-level, but deals a fair amount with the tendrils of pop-culture ephemera and culture-vulture-ism of today. Still, maybe a tad too self-important for its own good.
