This was a feel good movie despite the fact that Susan Sarandon' character was grieving her husband. The movie was not depressing; it had funny moments which fit into the movie. The acting was very realistic by all. Susan Sarandon was in all most every scene; she and Rose Byrne were good as mother and daughter. Marnie was a very likeable character who handled her grieving in a very unique way. She was fortunate to be able to help people financially which was appreciated. The movie leaves you with feeling to do a random act of kindness.
