It's epic cinema as only Nolan can do it. IE it's chock fulla "Gosh wow" cool moments yet also hand wringing with how portentous the dialogue can get. Still, it's one helluva movie. It also features one of Zimmer's better scores, balancing well between quiet moments and outer-space craziness. If I had to sum up what you're in for when you sit down to watch "Interstellar", it's kinda like listening to some lost British prog-rock album from the seventies that runs two and a half hours plus and features spoken-word monologues over the morose orchestral music in the background. If that sounds like your idea of a grand time, then you should run to see this flick. If you're already tapping your foot with impatience, well. That's that I guess.
