I would have given this one a 6.5 but you can't give 0.5 ratings. Yet it deserves slightly higher than a 6. That being said, I guess by reading all the reviews about the CGI, I was rather eager to see what has "improved" since the often mentioned "Twister" released 15 years back. To tell you the truth, other than the noise and scare factor of debris slamming past the camera view, it really didn't impress me that much. As mentioned previously, you have to leave your sense of reality at the door. Many scenes make you roll your eyes. I wont go into them here as they are too numerous and wont post spoilers.
