Kong: Skull Island

This movie was so disappointing. There were a few charming moments, and a couple funny ones so it's not a total loss, but it's so sad that they can't get anybody with any sense of reality to write a script. You get one piece of fantasy. Big monkey. After that, everything should be realistic. That's how you build drama and believability, which is what sucks the viewer in. This movie was so stupid. It's a good thing Brie Larson was a main character. She was about the only one with any depth. You've seen the final battle a hundred times already. You've seen everything in this a hundred times already. I can't believe so many millions go into FX and actor salaries. I think they spent about $400 on writers.
