The Great Wall

I love action/fantasy movies, but I'd read some of the reviews so I tempered my expectations and even with those tempered expectations I only stayed out of lack of anything else to do. This movie could've been an absolute epic but instead if just makes you roll your eyes. The humans are all, well... human, yet some things may as well come right out of an Avengers movie. The costumes are fantastic, and the scale is great, but for 2017 standards the FX are maybe, maybe a 6 out of 10 and the script is a 2. Several backdrops are such horribly obvious paintings it's irritating. Go if you wanna see a 'big' movie on the big screen, but very, very, very seriously temper your expectations.
