As a popcorn film, this movie fulfilled my expectations. I knew going in that the movie wouldn't deliver much more. I'm not sure this film necessarily needed Matt Damon but he filled the role adequately. Some of the Wall defence strategies were ludicrous but they were more esthetic contributors to style and beauty than legitimate actions. The acting in general was quite wooden, partially due to the language challenges, but also as a common characteristic of this genre. All in all it was enjoyable and entertaining.
