If people read the reviews here they would not go for nothing! This is a slow moving, sad movie (not depressing but sad) Afleck is living through major crisis (plural) so OF COURSE he is down and out, angry, full of remorse and broken hearted. It is hard to like him and sympathize with him, I get it. This however is a dramatic, realistic film, no touchy feelies and no car crashes. If you feel like a human drama, at times uplifting but basically sad and well acted, with beautiful Maine scenery, you will enjoy this movie. If you are looking for action or a warm fuzzy feeling, skip it.
