This film wants to be so much more than it is. The "corrupt cop" theme is SO tired, can't the creative minds in Hollywood come up with something new? And Batman's little sidekick (Morgan Freeman) is not cool with spying on millions of people to find a mass killer but he's fine with his own version of a rendition? Come on. Thank goodness they wrecked lots of stuff and had some great special effects. Heath Ledger was truly exceptional in his role. This movie is fun and worth seeing but not the dynamite it's hyped to be.

Excuse me, but do you understand Batman at all? Really, that's what Gotham city is based upon: corruption, and havoc. Seriously consider what you are reviewing before reviewing.

Click here to show this comment. Yes, I do understand batman. Had you read my review, you would have realized that my frustration is with the story of corrupt COPS, not corruption. How about a story about corrupt politicians? Corrupt business people? THAT was my point. And furthermore, since you didn't notice, the people of Gotham were NOT corrupt since they did not choose to blow each other up on the ferries. Maybe you should re-examine what you know about Batman. How about this - sit down and stop attacking people just because they don't share your opinion.
