The first half hour really scared me into thinking that this would be a horrible movie. It was even more cheesy than the past movies in this franchise, and the acting seemed over the top (even the guys that I was with said the same thing, and they love the other movies.) However, I was pleasantly surprised with the rest of the movie. It was still cheesy, but at least it was well done and entertaining. Not going to lie, I see Jason Statham in a new light now because of this movie. He did a really decent job portraying his character. He isn’t the “all-brawn” character I have come to know him as.
