West of Pluto takes you through 24 hours in the life of a dozen suburban teenagers. A mix of humour and drama, the film takes place during a party that's degenerating: Pierre-Olivier tries to reconcile the absurdity of his insignificant life with the immensity of the broader world; Jerome tries to find the courage to tell a special girl how he feels; Steve and Nicolas dream of fame; Kim's first sexual experience is disappointing; finally Benoit yells at his mother, is beaten up in the street and has a strange encounter. At the end of this strange day, everyone has been changed. West of Pluto is an examination of the adolescent's quest for identity and how each of us tries to live among others.
