Mabel (Gwei), Aaron (Vaughan) and Liam (Chang), grew up together in a small southern Taiwanese town. As adolescence gives way to adulthood, Aaron develops an affection for Mabel, but Mabel is in love with Liam, who in turns keeps his own feelings a secret. During the tumultuous martial law years of the 1980s, the trio, now university students in Taipei, begins to take part in protest movements. But their youthful passion soon gives way to a fateful revelation. One of Taiwan's most anticipated films of 2012.
